Grandma Florence's Roast Beef
ingredients
- Tip/top sirloin loin or rib roast, marbled
- Salt, to taste
- Garlic Powder, to taste
- Fresh garlic, sliced
- Potatoes, parboiled

1. Preheat oven to 400.

2. Add piece of fat from meat, salt and garlic powder to roasting pan.

3. Put pan in oven until hot.

4. Use sharp knife to make slits in meat and place garlic in slivers.

5. When pan is hot, add meat to pan.

6. Lower heat to 375 and cook 15 minutes per pound.

7. Halfway through cooking, add potatoes around roast.

8. Turn potatoes occasionally.

9. Let rest and slice.
