Fruit & Herbal Iced Tea
Try this with one type of tea, or mix 2 or 3 of your favorites. I really like spearmint tea with apple juice, chamomile with peach juice, and lemon zinger with apple juice and a pinch of cinnamon.
ingredients
- 4 herbal tea bags
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups apple, apple raspberry, peach or cherry juice
directions
In a pitcher, steep the tea bags at room temperature for 30 minutes. Add the juice and chill. Serve over ice with slices of lemon, orange, or lime and a sprig or two of mint.
notes
In the summer,you can make your own fresh sun tea. Pick fresh herb leaves (like mint, clover, or lavender)and place in a glass jar of water in the sun for several hours. Sit back and sip some sunshine!
