Triple Chocolate Fude Cake ( Death by Chocolate)
ingredients

- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cups butter
- 2 1/4 cups lightly packed brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3 squares Bakes Unsweetened Chocolate, melted
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup boiling water
- Filling
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 3 cups icing sugar
- 1/3 cups light cream
- 2 squares Bakes unsweetened chocolate melted
- Glaze
- 4 squares Bakers semi-sweet chocolate
- 2tbsp strong coffee
- 3 tbsp butter softened

Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Cream butter, sugar and eggs on medium speed of electric mixer until light (5 min). Beat in vanilla and melted chocolate. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream, mixing lightly until smooth. Stir in boilingwater (batter will be thin). Pour into two greased 9 inch round cake pans. Bake at 350 for 30-35 min, or until toothpic is clean.

Beat all ingredients together with electric mixer until light and fluffy. If necessary add a little more icing sugar or cream to make the spread consistent. Spread between cake layers and on the side of the cake, chill for 30 min.

Glaze

Melt chocolate in coffee over low heat, mixing until smooth. Remove from heat and gradually add butter. Blend until smooth. SPread over top of cake, letting it drizzle down the sides
