Mom's Stuffing
Stuffing
ingredients
- 6 Stalks of celery - chopped
- 5 Carrots - chopped
- 1 onion - chopped
- 1 red bell pepper - chopped
- 1 whole garlic - minced
- 1 cup white wine
- sage
- thyme
- salt and pepper
- 1 16 oz loaf sour dough french bread - chopped into 1 inch cubes
- olive oil
- 2 TB. butter

In pan, saute all vegetables in oil until lightly browned approximately 10 minutes.

Add butter, garlic and seasonings and let simmer for 10 minutes.

Add wine and continue cooking for few minutes until everything is blended.

In an oven of 350 degrees, bake bread for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

In bowl, toss bread with cooked vegetables and place in greased baking dish.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until done.
