Penne with Italian Sausage and Peppers
ingredients
- 1 lb. hot Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1 large onion, coarsely chopped
- 1 large green pepper, coarsely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- Parmesan cheese
- 12 oz. penne pasta, cooked and drained

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Saute sausage in skillet, crumbling as you go. Add onion, green pepper and garlic and saute till tender. Add olive oil if needed.

Combine sausage mixture, tomatoes and pasta in 13 x 9 inch baking dish coated with olive oil. Bake for 30 minutes, until hot and bubbly. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
