ingredients

  • l # smoked sausage cut ino l/4" diagonal slices
  • l sml onion chop
  • 23 celery ribs chop
  • l bell pepper chop
  • l garlic clove minced
  • l l4 oz can beef broth
  • l/4 c water
  • l c uncook rice
  • l l/2 c chop cooked ham or chicken
  • l l4 l/2 oz can DelMonte diced green pepper and onions and tomatoes,drained

    Cook sausage in dutch oven over med hi heat, stirr constantly 7 min or until sausage is brown. Stir in onion and next 3 ingred. cook stirr occasionally 2 to 3 min until tender

    Add bef broth, o/4 c water and rice, bring to a boil., Reduce haet to low, cover and simmer 20 min. Addd ham and tomatoes, cook uncovered 5 to l-0 min more stir occasionally
