Apple Crumb Crustade
ingredients
Crust- 1 cup flour
- Salt
- 3 Tbsp butter, chilled & cut into small pieces
- 3 1/2 Tbsp ice water
- 2 cups apples
- 1 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg white
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 Tbsp water
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp butter, chilled

Crust

Combine flour, salt, butter. Add ice water and mix in until moist.

Knead together on a floured surface. Roll into four 8-inch circles.

Put circles on parchment paper placed on a baking sheet.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Filling

Toss together apple and juice. Combine brown sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon.

Put in the middle of the crust. Roll the sides in.

Brush egg white and water over the crust.
Topping

Combine ingredients together. Sprinkle over the mixture.

Bake for 45 minutes.
