Eggs for Brunch
ingredients
- 3 cups garlic croutons
- 2 1/4 cups grated, sharp cheddar cheese (plus 3/4 cups extra)
- 1 1/2 lb bacon, diced and fried (reserve 3/4 cup)
- Parsley flakes (to taste)
- 6 eggs
- 3 cups milk
- 3/4 t salt
- 3/4 t dried mustard
- Sprinkle of onion powder
- Dash of pepper
- 1/4 t basil
- 1/4 t thyme
- 1/4 t marjoram

Preheat oven to 325° F.

Mix croutons and 2 1/4 cups of cheese. Fill bottom of well-buttered 9“x13” pan. Layer bacon and parsley flakes over cheese and croutons.

Mix eggs, milk, salt, mustard, onion powder, pepper, and herbs together. Pour over ingredients in pan.

Top with reserved bacon and 3/4 cup of grated cheese.

Bake at 325°F uncovered for 50-60 minutes.

May be assembled night before serving and kept covered in refrigerator.
