Becky's Stuffing
ingredients
- 1 pound italian sausage
- 1 bag (12 oz) unseasoned bread cubes
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 4 large stalks of celery chopped
- 1 pound sliced mushrooms
- 1 small can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 1/4 cup chicken broth
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon sage

Brown sausage in skillet. Mix in bread cubes. Add butter, onion, celery and mushrooms to skillet until soft. Add water chestnuts, chicken broth, and sage; mix until warm. Salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer ingredients to baking dish and cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
