Ingredients

  • 8 link sausages
  • Batter:
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 C low-fat milk
  • 1 C flour
  • 1/2 t salt

directions

Arrange sausages in 2-qt baking dish or iron skillet. Heat at 450° for 10 minutes. Pour off all but 1 T fat. Stir together batter ingredients until just combined, and pour batter over sausages. Bake at 350° for 30-45 minutes until top is brown & crisp.

Dottie served this dish with probably green beans of a salad for dinner when Jane-Ann and Sally were growing up. We LOVED it!!
