Mystery Cake

  • Crust:

  • ½ cup soft butter

  • 1 cup flour

  • Filling:

  • 2 eggs

  • 1⅓ cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup coconut

  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

  • ½ cup flour

  • ½ tsp. baking powder

  • Icing:

  • ⅓ cup butter

  • ½ cup icing sugar

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 1 tsp. vanilla

  • Crust

  • Combine butter and flour into a bowl and beat until smooth. Pour into your pan and press down evenly. Bake at 350° for 15 - 20 minutes.

  • Filling:

  • Mix all ingredients and pour over the baked crust and return to oven and bake for 15 - 20 minutes. Once cooked remove and place on a baking rack to cool completely.

  • Icing:

  • Beat together until light and fluffy.

  • Make sure that your cake is completely cooled before you put the icing on it.

TOTAL TIME: 40 min
