Cajun Shrimp & Corn Bisque

This is a very low fat low calorie soup but doesn’t taste that way.

ingredients

  • 4 cups fat free milk
  • 2 cups diced & peeled russet potatoes
  • 1 tsp. Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cream style corn.
  • 1 lb. large peeled & deveined shrimp

directions

  • 1

    Combine first five ingredients in large stock pot and bring to a boil.

  • 2

    Reduce heat and simmer the milk mixture for 10 minutes stirring occasionally.

  • 3

    Stir in the corn and bring to a boil.

  • 4

    Add the shrimp and cook for 2 minutes or until the shrimp are done.
