My Mom's Broccoli Dish
My mom makes this every holiday. Every family has a holiday food they know and love. This is a “Butler” tradition.
ingredients
- 2 heads broccoli, stems and leaves removed
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup, or cream of mushroom soup (or both!)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cups of bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
- 1/4-1/2 cup butter, melted

Place the broccoli in the bottom of a greased 9 x 12 pan.

Mix the soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, and cheddar cheese in a bowl. Spread evenly overtop of the broccoli.

Mix the bread crumbs, and parmesan cheese in a snamml bowl. Add the butter and mix until it creates a coarse topping. Sprinkle the topping over the broccoli and cover with tinfoil.

Bake in a 350 degree oven, for 45 minutes. Check if it is bubbly at the top, and a fork can pierce the broccoli easily. If not, put in the oven again for 15 minutes.
