Jalapeno Mustard

ingredients

  • 20 large jalapenos
  • 1 qt. yellow mustard
  • 1 quart white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 6 cups sugar (added last)
  • 1 1/2 cups flour (mixed with water to thicken mixture)

directions

Grind peppers in food processor (with seeds). Place in pan. Add mustard, vinegar, salt. Bring to a boil. Add sugar. Mix flour with water to thicken like gravy. Add slowly to mustard. Mix to thicken. Hot pack jars (sterilize). Water bath for 15+ minutes.
