Granola
A hearty breakfast cereal full of nuts and dried fruit.
ingredients
- 4 cups slow cook oats
- 1 1/2 cups grape nuts
- 1 cup dried fruit
- 3/4 cups almonds
- 3/4 cup pecans
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 T honey
- 1/4 cup syrup
directions
In a large pan mix together oats, grape nuts, dried fruit, almonds, and pecans. In a small bowl put butter, honey, syrup, and brown sugar. Microwave until butter is melted, and stir well. Pour brown sugar mixture evenly over cereal. Bake cereal for 30 minutes, stirring it every eight for even baking.
