ingredients

  • 1 c butter
  • 1 c onion, diced finely
  • 1 c carrot, diced finely
  • 1/4 c parsley
  • 12 c bread cubes
  • 1 t poultry seasoning
  • 1 1/2 t sage
  • 1 t thyme
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • chicken broth
  • salt and pepper to taste

directions

  • 1

    Cook butter, onion and carrot together until soft

  • 2

    Mix parsley, bread cubes, poultry seasoning, sage and thyme together.

  • 3

    Moisten bread mixture with chicken broth.

  • 4

    Into bread mixture add beaten eggs and cooked onion and carrot

  • 5

    Bake in 13 X 9 pan for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 325 degrees
