Ranger Cookies
ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 TBS. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 cup walnuts, toasted
- 1 cup golden raisins

Cream butter, shortening and sugars.

Mix in eggs, then vanilla and milk. Scrape down the bowl.

Add wheat and white flours, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon.

Stir in remaining ingredients.

Roll cookies into desired size and place on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 350F for about 12 minutes or until golden.
notes
Cookies taste best when baked as soon as the dough is made.
