Lois's Cranberry Jello Mold
ingredients
- 2 Oranges
- 1 pkg. 6 oz. strawberry jello
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1 16 oz. can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 2/3 cup chopped walnuts
directions
Grate 1 tbls. of orange rind. Peel and section oranges. Finely dice and drain sections. Dissolve the jello and salt in boiling water. In a mixing bowl stir cranberry sauce until smooth. Blend in jello. Add the orange zest and chill until slightly firm. Fold in the oranges and nuts. Pour into 5 cup mold. Chill until firm. Refrigerate until it’s time to un-mold and serve.
notes
You may wish to garnish with orange slices or mandarin oranges.
