Cranberry Gelatin Saladjanet basile
- DOUBLE BATCH 3 qt. pyrex baking pan, can be halved.
- 2 6 oz.packages raspberry jello
- 2 cans whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 pint sour cream
Dissolve 1 package raspberry jello in 2 cups boiling water.
Add 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
Stir until all jello is dissolved
Add 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Pour into dish and let chill until solid
Spread with pint of sour cream. Chill
Prepare 2nd package of jello as before and allow to cool (not jell)
Gently pour over sour cream layer. Chill
For the top layer I leave out the nuts. Also sometimes I also leave out the cranberry sauce. Making the top layer just plain raspberry jello.It comes out good no matter which way it's done.
