Forgotten Cookies
This light low calorie treat has been a tradition for years in our family. The meringue melts in your mouth and we think this cookie is so good it will melt your heart.
ingredients
- 2 Egg Whites
- 3/4 cup White Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 6 ounces Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Chopped Pecans

Preheat oven to 350.

Beat the egg whites until stiff, add sugar gradually.

Beat at high speed for 5 minutes.

Fold in vanilla, chocolate chips and pecans.

Drop from teaspoon onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Put in the oven and turn off heat. Leave in over night or at least 8 hours.
