Chex and Chocolate Party Mix

ingredients
- 9 cups chex cereal
- 2 cups coconut
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cup raisins
directions
Preheat oven to 250 deg. Mix cereal, coconut and peanuts in roast pan. Mix brown sugar, butter and corn syrup until boiling. Let boil for 5 minutes without stirring. Take off heat. Add vanilla and baking soda. Mix and pour over cereal. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely. Stir to break up pieces then add raisins and chocolate chips.
