Aunt Suella’s recipe!

ingredients

  • 1 lb. bulk pork sausage
  • 3 C. frozen has brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 3 C. shredded cheddar
  • 1/2 C. chopped green pepper
  • 12 beaten eggs
  • 2 C. milk

directions

Cook sausage in a skillet until browned, stirring to crumble; drain. Place hash browns in a lightly greased 13x9x2 baking dish; sprinkle with salt. Layer sausage, cheese, and green pepper. Combine eggs and milk, stirring well; pour over dish. Bake at 350° for about 50 minutes.

    Still a family favorite after 20 years. I use O'Brien potatoes which has green and red pepper already to spread and enjoy!!
