7-UP Party Salad

ingredients
- 7 oz. 7-Up
- 20 large marshmallows
- 3 oz lime jello
- 6 oz cream cheese
- 1 lb. 4 oz crushed pineapple, undrained
- 3/4 c chopped nuts
- 1 c heavy cream or Cool Whip
- 2/3 c mayonnaise
directions
Combine 7-Up and marshmallows in pan. Cook over medium heat until marshmallows are melted. Add jello, stirring until dissolved. Have cream cheese at room temperature. Add hot mixture slowly to cream cheese and beat until smooth. Add pineapple and nuts. Chill until partially set. Fold in whipped cream and mayonnaise. Blend thoroughly and pour into mold.

Another handwritten recipe salvaged from mother's box. Mercifully, I don't remember her ever making this. Mayonnaise and lime jello? Urk!
