Sugar Cream Cake
ingredients
- 18 ounces yellow cake mix (not reduced fat)
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 4 eggs
- 8 ounces cream cheese -- softened
- 16 ounces powdered sugar -- divided

With mixer, beat together cake mix, butter and 2 eggs. Pat into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.

Beat cream cheese with remaining 2 eggs; add all but 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar. Save remaining powdered sugar for topping.

Beat the mixture until smooth. Spread over cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. When tested by a toothpick the center will be moist.

When cake is cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Cake freezes well.
