MISSY'S CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP
MISSY MADE THIS WHILE SHE AND ALEC WERE LIVING WITH US AND SHE THINKS IT IS THE BEST EVER!!
ingredients
- 1 TBL.BUTTER
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED ONION
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED CARROTS
- 48 OUNCES CHICKEN BROTH
- 2 CANS CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP
- 1/2 LB. CHOPPED COOKED CHICKEN BREAST
- 1 PACKAGE FROZEN NOODLES
- 1/2 TSP. BASIL
- 1/2 TSP. OREGANO
- SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
directions
IN A LARGE POT OVER MEDIUM HEAT, MELT BUTTER. COOK AND ONION IN BUTTER UNTIL JUST TENDER, 5 MINUTES. POUR IN CHICKEN AND VEGETABLE BROTHS AND STIR IS CHICKEN, NOODLES CARROTS, BASIL OREGANO AND SALT AND PEPPER. BRING TO A BOIL, THEN REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER 20 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING.
