ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 T. melted butter
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 T. flour, mixed with sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 unbaked (9 inch) pastry shell
  • 1-1 1/4 c. pecan halves

directions

Combine sugar, corn syrup and melted butter. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves and butter melts. Let cool slightly. Add eggs, vanilla and salt to mixture, stirring well. Pour filling into pastry shell and top with pecan halves. Bake at 325° for 50-55 minutes.
