Szechuan Green Beans
ingredients
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons chili purée with garlic
- 1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced gingerroot
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
directions
Combine the first 6 ingredients. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add beans; stir-fry until crisp-tender (7-9 minutes). Remove from heat. Add sauce mixture; toss and stir until beans are evenly coated. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Tip: Beans can be prepared up to 1 day in advance; refrigerate, covered. Bring to room temperature before serving.
