Pumpkin Eggnog Chiffon Pie

ingredients

  • 1/3 C brown sugar
  • 1 envelope gelatin
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1/4 t ginger
  • 1/4 t cloves
  • 1/4 t nutmeg
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 3/4 C egg nog
  • 1 1/4 C pumpkin
  • 1/2 C sour cream
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 9" baked shell

    Cook first 7 with yolks and eggnog until it coats metal spoon

  • 2

    Stir in pumpkin

  • 3

    Cool to lukewarm

  • 4

    Fold in sour cream

  • 5

    Chill till mounds slightly

  • 6

    Beat whites to soft peaks, add sugar

  • 7

    Fold in and add to shell
