Grilled fish tacos - build your own
build your own fish tacos. fresh and light fish tacos are healthy and great for entertaining.
ingredients
- 3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 3 serrano chiles or Jalapenos (seeded and minced)
- 1 tsp. paprika
- ground pepper
- 8 tilapia filets
- 1 lb. green cabbage
- 2 tbsp. plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 2 large avocados
- 2 tbsp. lime juice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 36 - small corn tortillas
- cilantro and limes for serving

In a gallon plastic bag combine olive oil, garlic,chiles,paprika, and pepper. place tilapia in the bag and coat with mixture. refrigerate for 30 min. up to 4 hours.

in a food processor mix avocados and lime juice until smooth. Add sour cream and blend well. place in a bowl and set aside for serving

In a small bowl mix yogurt and mayo. set aside for serving.

Place shredded cabbage in a bowl and set aside for serving.

In a large skillet cook each tilapia fillet for about 3 min per side. They are done when the start to flake.

To create the tacos put a spoon full of avocado puree on the tortilla, add fish and some cabbage and cilantro. top with the white sauce. garnish with a lime wedge.
