Candy Cane Rolls
ingredients
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 package yeast
- 3/4 cup lukewarm milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 1/2 to 4 cups flour
directions

Mix all ingredients. Add flour. Knead until smooth and blistered, about 5 minutes. Put in a warm place until doubled. Punch down and let rise again.

Make canes on buttered baking sheet. Brush with some melted butter. Let rise 1 hour. Bake 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
