Slow Cooker Baked Apples
Great on a chilly Sunday...
ingredients
- 4 apples, cored
- 2 cups apple juice or cider
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp light brown sugar
- 1 cup raisins
- Vanilla Ice Cream (optional)
- Caramel Sauce (optional)

Arrange apples in the bottom of a slow cooker (a dutch oven will also work). Add apple juice to the bottom and sprinkle cinnamon in the juice. Divide raisins among the four apples, stuffing the raisins into the hole where the core used to be. Sprinkle brown sugar over the apples and turn on slow cooker, setting it for 2 hours.

Serve apples in a bowl underneath vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.
