Sausage-Cheese Grits Casserole
Cheese Grits with Sausage
ingredients
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup instant grits
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 large eggs (beaten)
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1 8-oz. can mild green chilies
- dash of tabasco

Pour boiling water over instant grits.

Brown sausage in skillet. Break up with

a potato masher. Drain if necessary.

Mix all ingredients together and pour into 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
