Chicken Rice Casserole
Old-fashioned classic.
ingredients
- 2 cooked chicken breasts, cut up
- 1 cup cooked celery
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 Tbs. lemon juice
- 1 Tbs. minced onion
- 3/4 cup Hellman’s mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup cornflakes
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 2 Tbs. butter, melted
directions
Mix all ingredients together. Place in 1 1/2 or 2 quart casserole. Refrigerate overnight. Combine cornflakes, almonds, and butter, and place atop casserole. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
