Breakfast Casserole (aka Egg Casserole)
ingredients
- 1 pound cooked sausage, bacon or ham
- 8 eggs slightly beaten
- 6 slices bread, cubed (see tip below)
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c.shredded cheese of your choice
- 1 t. salt
- 1/2 t. pepper
- 1 t dry mustard, optional
directions

1) Spray 9x13 pan with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350

2) Cube bread and put in pan

3) Sprinkle cheese and meat on top of bread

4) Beat eggs, milk, salt, pepper, mustard. Pour over bread, cheese, and meat.

5) Cover, refrigerate overnight (or just a few hours)

6) Uncover. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes
Tips:

1) Using asiago cheese bread or some other fun flavor will give the casserole a lot of flavor.

2) Great for dinner as well as breakfast.

3) Feel free to add veggies as well.
