Turkey Stuffing
ingredients
- 1 small loaf of bread, one day old
- 1/5 lb. bulk pork sausage
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. warm milk
- 1 egg
- 1 T. poultry seasoning
- salt & pepper to taste

Trim crust from bread and cut into small cubes. Fry pork sausage, onion and celery together. Drain fat.

Soften bread crumbs with warm milk, but don’t get the bread too soggy. Add egg, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and combine with sausage mixture.

Stuff cavity of turkey or bake in a 9“ x 13” baking dish at 350 until brown on top.
