Lemon Squares and Pineapple Squares

Lemon Squares
  • 1 Box of Purity Lemon Cream Biscuits
  • 1 Box Lemon Jello
  • 1 Box Dream Whip
  • ! Box Lemon Pie Filling
Pineapple Squares
  • Crust:
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • Middle:
  • 1 – 19 oz.can of crushed pineapple, drained.
  • Top:
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Lemon Squares

Form the crust of the squares by lining a pan with lemon cream biscuits. Prepare the lemon jello according to the box. Pour the Jello gently over the lemon cream biscuits while it is still liquid. Place the JEllo and Biscuits in the fridge and allow the jello to coll and almost set. Prepare the lemon pie filling as directed and allow to cool. Spread over the jello when the jello is almost set. Top with dream whip.

Pineapples Squares

Mix together the crust ingrts. using a fork. Once the crust in combined, press the dough into the bottom into a 9” ungreased square pan. Place drained pineapple on top of the crust. Mix together the ingrts. for the topping and pour over the pineapple. Bake at 325° for 35 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Cut into squares and serve.
