Broccoli with Beef
ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, cut diagonally 1/4 " inch thick
- Marinade:
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- dash of salt
- Gravy:
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch

Marinate meat overnight.

Sauté 4 cups cut-up broccoli over high heat, stir frying 2 or 3 minutes. Add a few drops of water to prevent sticking and a little salt.

Remove from pan. To pan, add 1 tbsp. oil and stir-fry marinated meat until partially cooked. Turn down heat, add broccoli and a gravy.

Cook until sauce thickens.

Serve with white rice.
