Marbled Cheesecake
For those who like a little chocolate with their cheesecake
ingredients
- Filling
- 3 8 once packages of cream cheese
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 squares semisweet chocolate melted
- Crust
- 1 cup chocolate wafer cookie crumbs (ice box cookies)
- 1 tbsp. butter or margarine

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Prepare crust in small bowel mixing crumbs and melted butter or margarine. Press into bottom of 8 inch spring form pan. Wrap outside of pan with heavy-duty aluminum foil.

In large mixing bowl using an electric mixer combine cream cheese and sugar. Beat in sour cream, flour and vanilla. Add the eggs 1 at a time beating well after each.

Transfer 1 1/2 cups of the batter to a small bowl. Stir in melted chocolate.

Spread half of vanilla batter into spring form pan.Top with chocolate batter. Then top with remaining vanilla batter.

Using a knife, gently swirl batter together creating a marble effect.

Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until set.

Cool at room temperature, then chill 4 hours or more.
