Paul's Baked Beans
***Paul Shoaff’s Recipe***
ingredients
- 2 c. white navy beans
- 1 onion, quartered
- 1/4 lb. salt pork
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 T. dry mustard
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
directions

Soak beans overnight.

Boil til skin begins to burst, drain and pour over onions in crock pot.

Mix other stuff with hot water and pour over beans.

Sear salt pork and bury in beans. Add water to cover.

Cook low heat in pot 6 - 8 hours or oven at 300 degrees.

Add water as necessary. Pull pork up and uncover the last hour to brown.

Add salt/ pepper to taste
