ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter/margarine- softened
- 1/2 cup shortening (Crisco)
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 cup flour (all purpose)
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp sugar mix with 2 tsp cinnamon to roll cookies in.
directions
Heat oven to 400°. Mix thoroughly butter, shortening, 1 1/2 cup sugar, 2 eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. shape dough by rounded tsp. into balls. rolls ball into sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set remove from pan to cool.
