Blonde Brownies with Chocolate Chips
ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup butter
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 2 TBSP hot water
- 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup+ chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Sift together dry ingredients and set aside.

In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Remove from heat and add brown sugar and hot water. Stir until smooth. Let mixture cool.

Stir in eggs and vanilla. Add flour.

Divide batter between 2 greased 8 inch round cake pans. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Bake 20-30 minutes until tops are set and golden brown.
