Megan's Apple Cobbler
ingredients
- Filing:
- 8 large Granny Smith/Fuji apples
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp tapioca flour
- Topping:
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 3 cups oatmeal, not instant

Peel and slice apples in 1/16 and cut into bite-sized pieces. Combine all filling ingredients in large bowl and mix together until all ingredients are blended together. Place into two 9x9" glass baking dishes

Combine all topping ingredients, mixing by hand, in separate bowl. Add oatmeal until mixture is crumbly. Top apples with filling loosely, (do not pack down) until fully covered.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes covered with foil and then 15 minutes without foil.

Serve immediately!
Extra Treat:
Add milk or ice cream to bowl of cooked cobbler for a tasty treat.
