Paula's Dr. Pepper Barbeque Sauce
Barbeque sauce for basting
ingredients
- 1 (12-ounce) can Dr. Pepper
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 clove garlic, minced
directions
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Let cool. Great to marinade on chicken and then baste on meat while grilling.
