Cheese & Olive Balls

Popular during 1950’s cocktail parties. Easy to make & freeze in advance.

ingredients

  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated, about 1/2 pound.
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 48 small pimento stuffed olives

directions

  • 1

    Blend cheese with butter. Add flour, salt, paprika.

    Mix well.

  • 3

    Wrap 1 teaspoon of mixture around each olive.

  • 4

    Freeze until ready to bake, then thaw and bake in 425 degree oven for 12 minutes.
