Spiced Apples
Grandmom always made apples with each meal. She made them so often that she did not use a recipe, however, she did her best to put her recipe in writing for me.
ingredients
- 3 or 4 red delicious apples
- 3 or 4 granny smith apples
- Nutmeg
- Cinnamon
- Sugar
directions
Put a little water (not too much) in bottom of pan. Peel and slice apples (thick slices) and place in pan. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon (a good bit) and scoop of sugar. The apples will make juice as they cook. Taste apples after they cook a while, add more cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar if needed.
