Coke Cake

- For Cake:
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 3 tbsp. Cocoa
- 1 cup Coke
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 1/2 cup marshmallows
- For Icing:
- 1 stick of margarine
- 2 tbsp. cocoa
- 6 tbsp. Coke
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 cup pecans

Heat Crisco, margarine, cocoa and coke to just under a boil.

Sift flour, sugar, soda. Add in eggs, marshmallows and buttermilk. Add heated coke mixture. Bake in 10“X13” pan at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes

Icing:

Bring margarine, cocoa and Coke to a boil. Boil a minute, remove from heat and gradually add sugar. Stir in pecans.
