Our Pizza Dough
Zach and I have come up with our favorite pizza crust, actually I have to his liking!
ingredients
- 1 pkg. Red Star fast rising yeast
- 1 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 1/3 cups bread flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 TBS. honey
- 2 TBS. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 TBS. melted butter

Dissolve yeast in warm water, allow to set 5 minutes.

In a mixing bowl with dough attachment, combine all ingredients and begin to knead/mix until dough is formed and smooth.

Place in a greased, glass bowl and place in a warm area to rise about 1 hour.

On a lightly floured surface, punch down the dough and knead a few times. Divide dough in half and roll out each pizza.

Place a small handfull of cornmeal on baking sheet then lay the pizza crust. Top with favorite toppings.

Bake at 450F for about 20 minutes.
