Grilled Flank Steak
ingredients
- 1 Flank steak (2lbs avg)
- 1/4 c. Hoisin Sauce
- 1/4 c. Balsamic Vinegar
- Soy Sauce (optional)
- salt & pepper
- 9x13 Pan for marinating

Mix Hoisin sauce and Balsamic vinegar in pan. Lay flank steak flat in the pan. Prick the steak with a fork in several places. This tenderizes the meat and allows the marinade to soak in better.

Marinate for 2 hrs or overnight in the refrigerator. Set the steak out an hr before cooking.

Grill the steak for 3-4 mins on each side. May be cooked on the stove in a very hot skillet.

Slice cooked steak against the grain; i.e., start at the smallest (narrowest) end and slice thin. Serve as is or on buns.
