Grandma Genevieve's Green Bean Casserole
Served every Christmas throughout our childhood.
ingredients
- 1 large bag frozen Green Beans (french cut style)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 milk
- 1 can water chestnuts (optional)
- 1 sm can fried onions
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
directions

Mix green beans (thawed and drained) with mushroom soup, milk and water chestnuts. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Remove and add cheddar cheese and fried onions (around the edge) return to oven for additional 15 minutes.
notes
Pam doesn't like the water chestnuts!
