Grilled Hawaiian Chicken Sandwiches
ingredients
- 1/4 c soy sauce
- 1 (8 oz) can pineapple slices
- 2T honey
- 2 1/4 t sesame oil
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- 1/2 t ginger
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/3 c sliced red onions
- 1/4 c miracle whip
- 3 T mango chutney
- 4 slices Hawaiian sweet bread

In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, pineapple liquid, honey, 2 t of sesame oil, garlic powder and ginger; mix well.

Pound chicken to 1/4 inch thickness.

Marinate chicken in 3/4 of soy mixture for 1 hour.

Marinate pineapple rings in 1/4 of soy mixture for 1 hour.

Heat grill - cook chicken 6-8 minutes, turning once

Place pineapple rings on grill rack - cook until caramelized; place bread slices on grill rack - cook until toasted.

Spread toasted bread with chutney and miracle whip, top with chicken, onion and pineapple.
